What is it Takes Two?
Koop-Hedrama: At it Takes Two, it is a pure co-op game that you can play either locally or online for two. In both cases, this is largely shown to you in the split screen. We play a couple who wants to divorce, but is magically transformed into dolls by the tears of the child together. In order to get their human body back, the two have to work together.
In essence, an action platform: Despite occasionally serious undertones, the game, which is kept in the colorful style of a Pixar comedy, is rather easy to eat. In terms of play, it is essentially an action platformer with puzzles. However, the mechanics change in every level, as the two main characters always get new skills that have to be combined. In between there are fights against partly huge boss opponents, who can sometimes be more demanding, but not so difficult that you are stuck for a long time.

Change of genre and mini-games: It is not completely nailed to a genre, because in between it likes to throw all of its previous game mechanics over the heap and, for example, temporarily become a shooter, a fighting game or one Flight simulator. There are also more than 20 mini -games that range from tug of war to chess to a music game in the style of Guitar Hero. So there is plenty of variety in the approximately ten to twelve hours of play.
