It is rumored that the new game Donkey Kong for Nintendo Switch is in development
It is rumored that a new video game of Donkey Kong is being developed for Nintendo Switch. During the past year, a lot has been talked about the famous Nintendo Limit and what I could do next. At this time, 2014 Donkey Kong Country: Tropical freezing is still the most recent main game of Donkey Kong that has been released on a Nintendo platform. And although DK has spent so much time outside, it seems that we will soon listen to more about the next adventure of him.
Mentioned at a recent Nate podcast, which has previously had first associated with the upcoming video games, it was mentioned that Nintendo was working on a new Donkey Kong title. However, out of this simple confirmation that Nintendo is developing said game, Nate had now much more knowledge about the subject. He said he is not sure if he is meant to be a 2D or 3D title, and also said that he is still not sure of the possibility of revealed and throwing this year. I have investigated it and I really can not get any clarification about it, he said about the next game of Donkey Kong.
However, the only important conjecture he added is related to Super Nintendo World, which is the Nintendo Theme Park in Universal Studios in Japan. At this time, a new section of Donkey Kong is being built from the park and will open in the future. Nate raised the hypothesis that this new game of Donkey Kong for Nintendo Switch could be associated in some way with the theme park that Nintendo is currently creating. While it is not clear how these two projects could be intertwined, this could be the reason why Nintendo has not yet announced this new game of Donkey Kong.
Again, it is worth emphasizing that all this information should be taken with tweezers. While it seems likely that Nintendo is creating a new Donkey Kong title for Switch, until the company formally announced said game, it is difficult to know exactly what should be believed here.
That said, what kind of game of Donkey Kong would you like to see from Nintendo in the future? Would you prefer a game that takes place in a 2D or 3D environment? Let me know in the comments, or you can send me a message on Twitter a @ mooreman12.
